What you'll do:

As a Research and Development Technician on the Tech Lead Track, you will play an integral role in shaping the technical direction of cutting-edge POS system solutions. * Lead the full lifecycle development of high-priority modules such as POS integrations, multi-region scaling solutions, and core product features from initial design through deployment and post-launch optimisation.
* Oversee agile workflows including daily standups, sprint planning sessions, code reviews, and retrospectives while mentoring junior engineers and establishing best practices in agile methodologies.
* Collaborate closely with founders to align on backlog prioritisation and proactively manage scope changes from non-technical stakeholders to ensure project focus.
* Build and maintain mobile features using React Native as well as web features with React, ensuring seamless integration across platforms.
* Develop scalable APIs and backend logic utilising Golang or Node.js to support distributed systems capable of handling high-volume transactions.
* Partner with product managers and quality assurance teams to deliver production-ready code that meets compliance requirements for fintech and POS industries.
* Conduct rigorous testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability and uphold industry compliance standards.
