Associate Director, Digital Delivery (Insurance)
My client is looking for delivering end‑to‑end digital and technology solutions that enable the successful launch and ongoing enhancement of Life and Health insurance products. This position serves as a critical link between business strategy, product development, distribution platforms, and technology execution—ensuring seamless integration across systems while meeting operational, regulatory, and customer experience goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of financial product implementations across digital and technology ecosystems, from concept through post-launch optimization.
- Translate business requirements into actionable delivery plans that align with strategic objectives and platform capabilities.
- Coordinate integration across multiple systems (e.g., portals, core systems, APIs, digital channels) to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
- Oversee all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and release management.
- Ensure seamless system connectivity and functionality using best practices in integration and digital delivery.
- Maintain compliance with governance standards, regulatory requirements, security protocols, and risk controls.
- Serve as the primary delivery lead collaborating with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to address dependencies, mitigate risks, and enable timely decision-making.
- Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Mentor delivery teams to foster a high-performance culture focused on results.
- Champion agile methodologies and modern delivery practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Identify opportunities for innovation to improve speed-to-market, scalability, and user experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services or insurance industries with exposure to product development, distribution models, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of delivering complex digital or technology initiatives within highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on experience managing product implementation across diverse systems and platforms.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and enterprise system integration approaches.
- Knowledge of digital platforms, APIs, and application architecture.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
- Exceptional program management skills with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical teams with business stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
