Full Stack Engineer (Insurance, Chinese Speaking must)

An insurance company seeks a Full Stack Engineer in Kowloon to develop impactful insurance applications within a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-focused tech team.

Key responsibilities:

As Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain impactful insurance applications while working closely with diverse teams in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

• Develop and maintain high-quality software across the full stack, managing the entire software delivery lifecycle in a DevOps environment
• Translate user requirements into practical solutions and design, build, test, deploy, and continuously improve business applications
• Coach, review, and share knowledge with team members to promote best practices and a culture of learning
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving to address stakeholder pain points
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and adapt to evolving challenges while learning from successes and failures

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring hands-on full-stack development experience, cloud and front-end expertise, analytical problem-solving, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with experience in full-stack development using modern programming languages
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies such as Azure, AliCloud, Kubernetes, React, Angular, Node.js, or React Native is a plus
• Industry and regulatory knowledge in insurance, particularly Group Life and Health applications, with understanding of compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and adaptability skills, able to learn quickly, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration across teams
