Technical Lead (Insurance, Java, CRM) -70k

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to join our client and drive the development of innovative IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java-based application development, enterprise system integration, and project delivery within the insurance domain. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications and solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Develop scalable and secure microservices using modern frameworks and tools.
• Integrate applications with other enterprise systems through APIs or middleware solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security protocols throughout the development process.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions to optimize system performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends relevant to Java development and the insurance industry.

Requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java-based application development.
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React, or similar frameworks) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proven experience leading IT development projects in the insurance industry or similar domains.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across teams.
