  • Align enterprise system architectures, standards, integration practices, and technology roadmaps with evolving business objectives to ensure governance and consistency across all digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design comprehensive system enhancements by evaluating current processes and recommending improvements that increase operational efficiency throughout the organisation.
  • Select appropriate software applications, platforms, and tools after thorough evaluation to optimise business operations within garment and textile manufacturing systems.
  • Develop and maintain robust standards supporting business processes, seamless integration, and efficient data flows for manufacturing systems while ensuring project teams implement these standards effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams at every organisational level to gather requirements, define system architectures, manage governance protocols, and foster knowledge sharing.
  • Prepare detailed architecture designs, strategic roadmaps, and system integration diagrams for presentation to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills by influencing decision-making processes throughout the organisation while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support project teams during implementation phases by providing expert guidance on best practices for system architecture design.
  • Monitor emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing systems and recommend adoption strategies that align with long-term organisational goals.
  • Facilitate workshops or meetings aimed at building consensus around architectural decisions and encouraging communal problem-solving.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline is required for this position.
  • At least 15 years of proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is essential for success.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing complex system architectures encompassing hardware, software, and network components.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing business processes such as product development lifecycle, procurement procedures, production planning and scheduling methodologies, inventory management techniques, execution control mechanisms, quality assurance protocols, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination.
  • Expertise in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), QA (Quality Assurance), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) architecture design and implementation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent command of both English and Chinese languages is necessary for effective communication across multicultural teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions that lead to consensus on architectural decisions while promoting communal problem-solving approaches.
  • Experience presenting complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences including senior management.
  • Commitment to continuous learning through participation in training opportunities offered by the organisation.
