Application Analyst- Oracle Fusion cloud, Perm role

To excel as a Senior Application Analyst in this organisation, you will bring extensive experience working with ERP systems alongside a deep understanding of how technology can drive business success.

• Provide comprehensive support and maintenance for a range of application software and systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for end-users.
• Perform detailed technical analysis of system requirements to design, develop, and enhance efficient software solutions that address evolving business needs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within applications, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations across all platforms.
• Work closely with various departments to configure ERP and business applications according to specific organisational requirements, including customising workflows and integrating disparate systems.
• Support technical project delivery by partnering with business units throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating effective communication and successful outcomes.
• Offer expert guidance in the development and maintenance of application software, leveraging your experience to optimise system functionality.
• Develop and deliver engaging training programmes for end-users, providing ongoing assistance to maximise user adoption and system effectiveness.
• Monitor the performance of ERP and business applications continuously, identifying areas for improvement and implementing upgrades or patches as needed.
• Ensure all systems comply with relevant industry regulations while upholding rigorous standards of data security and privacy.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in ERP and business applications, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance system capabilities and streamline processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related discipline is required for this position.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience supporting ERP systems and managing business application projects within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in supporting, configuring, and delivering robust business applications under tight deadlines.
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP software platforms such as Oracle, SAP, CTRM or CRM; experience with core financial or supply chain systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven analytical mindset capable of assessing risks, identifying issues promptly, and proposing practical solutions that benefit the wider team.
• Experience developing engaging training programmes or workshops aimed at enhancing user adoption of new technologies.
• Ability to adapt quickly within dynamic environments while maintaining focus on quality outcomes for both users and the organisation.
• Familiarity with integration techniques for various applications/systems; exposure to oil & gas, commercial supply chain, manufacturing or logistics sectors would be advantageous.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of data security, privacy compliance, and regulatory adherence throughout all phases of application management.
