As an Application Developer and Analyst Programmer based in Hong Kong, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation’s HR technology landscape.

  • Participate actively in the full lifecycle of system development and implementation projects, from requirements gathering through to deployment and post-launch support.
  • Design, develop, and maintain databases by writing complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and optimal performance for HR-related applications.
  • Support, enhance, and troubleshoot HRMS systems including SAP SuccessFactors (Performance, Learning, Succession) and Oracle PeopleSoft to meet evolving business needs.
  • Assist in integrating various HR solutions by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, propose effective solutions, and ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Provide responsive technical support for application issues by diagnosing problems quickly and offering reliable resolutions to minimise disruption.
  • Document development processes thoroughly, including system configurations and changes, to promote transparency and facilitate future maintenance.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement by sharing feedback on existing processes or suggesting new technologies that could benefit the team.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices in software development, security standards, and data privacy regulations throughout all project phases.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computing Studies or a related discipline provides a solid foundation for this role.
  • At least two years of proven experience in system development and implementation demonstrates your capability to manage complex technical tasks effectively.
  • Strong programming knowledge enables you to create reliable solutions tailored to business requirements.
  • Proficiency in database design coupled with advanced SQL skills ensures you can handle large datasets securely and efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors is essential for supporting key HR functions within the organisation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS as well as TalentLink is highly desirable for broader system coverage.
  • Knowledge of PeopleCode development would be advantageous when customising or extending existing applications.
  • Experience working with UiPath is considered a plus for automating repetitive tasks or enhancing process efficiency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills allow you to communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders alike.
  • Strong written communication abilities are important for documenting processes accurately so others can follow your work.
