What you'll do:

As an Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of leading software engineering squads, delivering top-notch functionality for our client's business. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical architecture documentation for solutions while upholding development standards. Your role will involve partnering with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into consumable technical stories and innovative software solutions. You will also participate in solutioning and estimation activities for deliverables, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Leading a team of talented software developers, you will guide them in building quality software solutions aligned to architecture guidelines. Additionally, you will deep dive on technical solutioning or troubleshooting with the Tech Leads and Squads as required.

• Creating and maintaining technical architecture documentation for solutions.
• Upholding development standards and tooling for the squads.
• Partnering with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into consumable technical stories and software solutions.
• Participating in solutioning and estimation activities for deliverables.
• Leading a team of software developers to build quality software solutions aligned to architecture guidelines.
• Deep diving on technical solutioning or troubleshooting with the Tech Leads and Squads as required.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Engineering Lead role will bring over 15 years of hands-on, full-stack development experience using Java and Microsoft technology stacks. You will have a deep understanding of SQL Server, including database design models and performance optimisation. Your experience in Angular for front-end development, including Single Page Application and Micro-Frontends, will be crucial in this role. You will have demonstrated experience developing REST based APIs using Microservice architecture and Open API Specification. Your ability to containerise applications using Docker & Kubernetes, along with your previous experience with cloud solutions (Azure preferred), will be highly valued. Additionally, you will have experience configuring DevOps/continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins and/or Maven. Your familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK and Prometheus, along with your knowledge of secure SDLC and application security & compliance, will set you apart.

• Over 15 years’ hands-on, full-stack development experience using Java and Microsoft technology stacks.
• Experience in Angular for front-end development including Single Page Application and Micro-Frontends.

• Demonstrated experience developing REST based APIs using Microservice architecture, Open API Specification.
• Experience in containerising applications using Docker & Kubernetes.
