Tech Support Manager-Compliance transaction system

This role is pivotal in testing and tuning systems related to Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), including Transaction Monitoring, name screening, and customer risk assessment. The successful candidate will also support FCC projects by working on system design, data integration, and workflow mapping. Based in the vibrant city of Hong Kong, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a significant impact on the company's operations.

  • Review and optimise the design and functionality of current systems
  • Develop user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios based on system updates and regulatory changes
  • Coordinate regular activities with FCC project teams, system vendors, and in-house data scientists
  • Support AML/TM teams with customer name screening, risk assessment, transaction monitoring, and fraud detection processes and systems
  • Ensure proper documentation on system reviews, findings, and recommendations
  • Prepare regular MIs for management or regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement risk management and compliance procedures
  • University Degree or above in relevant disciplines
  • Knowledgeable in HKMA AML Guidelines, Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance
  • At least 10 years’ relevant experience from the financial services industry
  • Experience with AML compliance software and systems (e.g. SAS, Norkom and Actimize etc.)
  • Knowledge in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Python and Tableau etc.)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
