The Mainframe Delivery Lead/PM position leads the development and support of post-trade systems on mainframe platforms, focusing on clearing, settlement, and risk management applications. The role requires a technical leader with 10+ years of experience in mainframe development and strong expertise in z/OS, DB2, COBOL, and related technologies.

The Mainframe Delivery Lead/PM position leads the development and support of post-trade systems on mainframe platforms, focusing on clearing, settlement, and risk management applications. The role requires a technical leader with 10+ years of experience in mainframe development and strong expertise in z/OS, DB2, COBOL, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business requirement analysis, resource estimation, system design, application development, testing, system rollout and documentation
  • Design and develop systems with mainframe and integrate with other modern technologies or platforms
  • Conduct quality assurance review on system design and project deliverables
  • Collaborate with other IT teams, business users and vendors on testing and support activities during project development
  • Assist supervisor in managing project risks and implement mitigation measures accordingly
  • Adhere to organization policies and standards for fulfillment of compliance
  • Coach and supervise developers
  • Provide production support and resolve production incidents
  • Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years' system development and support experience
  • Solid development experience in z/OS, DB2, COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve Plus, JCL, CA-7 and MQ
  • With knowledge and experience in following aspects is an advantage:
    • SWIFT platform support
    • Linux platform support
    • Proficiency in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology
    • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
    • Possess project management skills and qualifications (e.g., PMP, CSM) is an advantage
    • Experience in financial services industry or regulatory bodies is an added value
    • Self-starter, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
