C# senior developer - Insurance (.net & AWS/Azure)

As a C# senior programmer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering customer facing digital platform. Your role will also involve providing third level support where necessary, training front line support staff to effectively manage the systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a global team to deliver customer facing digital platform
  • Provide third level support where required and ensure front line support are trained to support the systems
  • Regularly interact with business lines and business analysts to understand requirements and drive solutions
  • Provide timely updates on development progress and escalate issues/blockers
  • Propose and deliver architectural / system technical design improvements where appropriate as part of functional delivery
  • Perform peer review of code of other developers within the team, regionally and globally

Requirements:

  • 4+ years relevant experience in system implementation role.

  • Prior C#/.net experience is essential
  • Prior experience with Azure cloud technologies and Micro-service experience is strongly advantageous
  • Experience working with Container based environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible…)
  • Familiarity with Jira and working in an agile methodology is preferred
  • Fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin
