Java Analyst Programmer - Work-Life-Balance - Sha Tin

As an Application Programmer, your primary responsibility will be designing and developing internal software systems. You'll create applications tailored to specific functional needs, working closely with system analysts to define project specifications.

Responsiblities:

  • Design and develop internal software systems/workflow management systems
  • Create applications that meet specific functional needs
  • Collaborate with system analysts to define project specifications
  • Write and modify application programs
  • Conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Assist in system integration testing and support user acceptance testing
  • Work on student information systems, particularly Ellucian Banner
  • Develop expertise in workflow management systems

Requirments:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong foundation in application development using various technologies including: Database languages (SQL & PL/SQL), Java-based frameworks, Web technologies (HTML5), AJAX, JBoss, XML
