Senior Software Engineer (Perm, Java, 45K)

Our client is an MNC headquartered in Singapore and is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Hong Kong office. Candidates with less experience will also be considered for the positions of Software Engineer or Senior Analyst Programmer.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and customisation of software applications in Java and related technologies
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverable
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Java development
  • Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
  • Hands-on experience with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle Database, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns
