Technical Lead (Perm, Government Projects, 65K)

Our client is a prominent technology company seeking an experienced technical lead to drive software development projects. Their key clients include both listed companies and government departments.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise Java expertise to provide technical guidance and support to the project team
• Handle technical queries and challenges presented by the team or stakeholders
• Manage and lead a team of system analysts, providing guidance and support where necessary
• Day-to-day project management in taking forward the implementation of software systems, including project planning, tracking and control, resolving project issues, applying quality control management, liaising with all relevant parties for the implementation, and ensuring the project deliverables are provided on time and fulfilling user requirements
• Maintain continuous alignment of project scope with strategic business objectives, making recommendations to modify the project to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders; Attend related meetings for the implementation of the System

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information technology
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in software engineering and development (Java back-end)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management
• Track records of software system implementation
