IOS developer (Swift) - banking

Our client is seeking a experienced iOS Developer (Swift) to join their regional development team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our regional development team in Hong Kong, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for iOS platforms using Swift.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain applications for iOS platform using Swift.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts with product strategists, business analysts, and UX/UI specialists to envision and construct mobile solutions
  • Produce and deploy thoroughly tested code, encompassing both novel functionalities and issue resolutions
  • Compile comprehensive documentation outlining application technical details • Demonstrate expertise in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges
  • Provide guidance and support to junior and internship-level developers
  • Contribute across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), interfacing with various stakeholders including business users, external vendors, analysts, and project managers
  • Remain current with evolving iOS development paradigms and technological advancements
  • Maintain awareness of industry-standard architectural principles
  • Adhere to established methodologies governing software development, implementation, and production processes

Requirments

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in iOS mobile application development
  • Proficiency in Swift programming language
  • Fundamental knowledge of UI/UX guidelines
  • Experience with application design patterns
  • Understanding of offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning
  • Experience with integrating third-party libraries/frameworks/SDKs
  • Familiarity with REST-based APIs and Microservices
