Senior Software Engineer (Perm, Java Spring Boot)

Our Financial Services client is looking for Senor Software Engineer who is experienced with Java, Spring Boot development to work on payment system projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse user requirements and business processes to convert them into detailed technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain Java web applications using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Ensure robust and effective implementation and integration of software solutions from concept through to launch
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with relevant teams
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including use cases, data models, and architectural designs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine software solutions and enhance system performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java web application development
  • Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services
  • Proficiency in JPA and experience with databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with container technologies like Kubernetes and messaging systems such as Kafka is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and proactively offer solutions to software and design challenges
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
