Lead QA - New Project (12 months )

We are hiring a lead QA engineer for one of our key clients in Hong Kong, prefer immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the QA strategy for the new project, aligning with agile and DevOps practices.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using Selenium and Appium.
• Drive API testing using Postman and RestAssured, ensuring end-to-end service validation.
• Lead performance testing using JMeter, Gatling, or MeterSphere to meet critical NFRs.
• Embed TDD and BDD practices using Cucumber and Gherkin into the development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring rapid and stable releases.
• Oversee test automation scripting in Java and Python.
• Manage test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle using modern test management tools.
• Conduct chaos engineering and basic security testing to ensure system resilience.
• Lead mobile testing strategy for iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement test infrastructure as code to scale testing environments efficiently.
• Mentor QA engineers, collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps for quality delivery.

Required Experience

• 6+ years in Quality Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience in automation frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration.
• Expertise in Java/Python, Selenium, Appium, Postman, RestAssured, and performance testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development, DevOps, and quality engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
