AI QA analyst- automation testing (Financial services)

Our client is a leading financial institution who is driving their digitalization program and currently seeking a QA analyst with AI experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test plans and cases for AI-powered systems and web applications, including generative AI tools like chatbots.
• Develop and maintain both automated and manual testing processes to validate system functionality and performance.
• Identify, log, and track bugs, collaborating closely with development teams to resolve issues and enhance quality.
• Perform various testing types—performance, load, functional, UI/UX, regression, and cross-browser—to ensure consistent user experience across platforms.
• Assess AI models for fairness, bias, and ethical compliance; monitor live systems for performance drift and recommend improvements.
• Deliver constructive feedback aimed at improving system reliability and user experience while staying current with QA best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the delivery of high-quality AI-driven products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of QA experience, ideally with AI or machine learning systems, large-scale integration, or data-driven projects.
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles, NLP, model lifecycle, and performance evaluation metrics.
• Proficient in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs) and experienced with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Familiar with agile methodologies and diverse testing strategies, including UI, regression, and performance testing.
• Self-driven and creative, with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
