IT Project Manager - Investment

A market leading asset management firm is now hiring a IT Project Manager to assist them on a investment trading platform replacement project. Successful incumbent must have solid experience working on large-scale and enterprise level projects.

The Investment IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning & managing IT activities, owning the delivery of systems and overseeing compliance of policies in IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Apply project management expertise in planning, managing and delivering IT projects within agreed budget and timeline
• Drive third party vendors and internal IT teams to implement systems according to business requirements, contractual obligations and AIA IT standards
• Prepare project documentations, including but not limited to project plans, IT budgets, progress reports, etc.
• Represent IT for reporting progress to the project steering committee and managing expectation of stakeholders on the IT deliverables
• Work with third party vendors and internal stakeholders to prepare documentations and deliverables with compliance to AIA SDLC Standard, including but not limited to security assessment, architecture design review, etc.
• Manage and maintain relationships with third party vendors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications and education requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, or equivalent
• 10+ years project management experience, in which 7 years in integrating investment systems
• PMP, ITIL, CISA or equivalent certifications will be preferred

Preferred skills

• Comprehensive experience in applying SDLC under both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Strong understanding on system integration strategies on both cloud and on-premise environments
• Strong communication skills to present complex ideas to both technical (e.g. IT vendor) and non-technical (e.g. user) audiences at various levels and understandings
