Senior Manager, Business Applications (Perm, Listed Co.)

Our client is a reputable company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, renowned for its robust financial standing and consistently profitable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a liaison between the IT department and the business, gaining an understanding of various
• Collaborate with the business users and vendors to comprehend critical operations and key processes
• Coordinate with cross-department business users to identify and implement potential enhancements for a range of business systems
• Manage projects to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery that meets business needs, adhering to the organization's project governance and policies
• Research and recommend IT solutions and services to support the operations of various business departments
• Implement and oversee continuous improvement plans for facility management projects, including potential deployment and ongoing support
• Prepare and deliver meeting materials for Weekly Status and Steering Committee meetings, among others
• Engage in operational and strategic planning, fostering innovation, project planning, and resource allocation through negotiation and organization
• Understand and enforce corporate policies regarding procurement and contracting activities, including vendor selection, RFP preparation, contract negotiation, and contract management
• Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures regarding system activities and data usage
• Provide effective guidance and coaching to subordinates, fostering their professional growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Technology
• 10 years or above in successfully implementing, designing, and analysing IT Business Applications
• 5 years of managerial experience, overseeing application development teams
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT), transaction and payment management, data reporting, and data analytics
• Demonstrates hands-on expertise in leading, implementing, and managing large-scale IT solutions
• Keeps abreast of the latest trends and products in the facilities management and car park sectors, showcasing a deep knowledge of the market landscape
• Exhibits adeptness in developing and delivering high-quality materials for Senior Management, business stakeholders, and other relevant audiences
• Possesses exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels
• Demonstrates proficiency in project management, vendor management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
