IT Operations Manager (Infra/Data Center)

An IT company seeks an IT Operations Manager in Kowloon to lead infrastructure and data centre operations, drive strategy, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

As IT Operations Manager, you will manage data centre and infrastructure teams, drive technology strategy, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

• Oversee daily data centre operations, including roster planning and team supervision (DC operators) to ensure compliance with processes and procedures
• Ensure service delivery meets customer agreements, cross-checking quality and addressing any service gaps
• Develop and implement improvement plans for DC operational tasks when process flaws are identified
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled activities with internal technical teams and external vendors
• Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and attend customer meetings to address data centre operations matters

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong years of data centre experience, technical and audit knowledge, ITIL certification, and proven leadership and communication skills.

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with 5+ years of data centre operations experience
• Strong knowledge of data centre processes, including change and incident management, and familiarity with audit procedures
• Experienced in leading shift-based DC teams, demonstrating teamwork, problem-solving, and self-motivation
• ITIL V3 Foundation certified with excellent English and Chinese communication skills
• Skilled at engaging and reasoning with customers to address operational matters effectively
