IT Support Engineer (Contract)

This is a 12‑month renewable contract with a financial services firm in Hong Kong. As an IT Support Engineer, you will manage and enhance Microsoft O365, cloud platforms, and virtual desktop infrastructure, ensuring secure, resilient systems. You will collaborate across teams to support operations, drive cloud adoption, and strengthen disaster recovery and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer and improve MS O365, messaging, and VDI systems

  • Support cloud initiatives (Azure/AWS) and hybrid infrastructure

  • Assist with IT setup/migration for new entities

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams

  • Conduct tech evaluations and disaster recovery drills

  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards

Candidate profile:

  • Degree in IT/Computer Science + 3+ years enterprise IT experience

  • Certifications in Microsoft O365, Azure, VMware preferred

  • Hands-on with O365 (AD, Exchange Online, Intune, Power Platform), VDI/AVD

  • Strong knowledge of cloud, networking, server admin, backup & recovery

  • Excellent English & Chinese communication skills
