DevSecOps & Cloud Lead (Investment Bank)

A leading global investment bank seeks a DevSecOps & Cloud Lead in Hong Kong Island to drive secure cloud migration, hybrid environments, and cross-team initiatives.

Key responsibilities

As DevSecOps & Cloud Lead, you will shape APAC technology operations by driving secure cloud strategies, hybrid migrations, cross-team collaboration, and Agile innovation.

• Cloud Strategy & Execution: Lead APAC cloud initiatives, design migration roadmaps from legacy to hybrid environments, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards
• Hands-On Project Delivery: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and vendors to implement cloud infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations
• DevSecOps Leadership: Design and implement DevSecOps toolchains, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle and enabling Agile self-service capabilities
• Operational Performance & Optimisation: Provide ongoing platform support, track metrics, drive continuous improvement, and optimise cloud performance and cost efficiency
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance: Partner with internal teams and senior leadership to align roadmaps, manage risks, and ensure regulatory compliance across APAC cloud operations

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you bring strong DevSecOps and cloud expertise, delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions while leading cross-functional teams in a complex banking environment.

• Strong expertise in cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless architecture) with ability to translate strategy into actionable solutions and data-driven decisions
• Proficient in cloud platforms, container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Jira, Ansible, Terraform), and microservices architecture
• 10+ years in DevOps and cloud engineering, including 5+ years in leadership, with experience designing and implementing DevSecOps platforms and cloud infrastructures
• Skilled in project management, analytical problem-solving, and process optimisation to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient solutions
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and stakeholders; fluent in English (additional Asian language a plus)
