System Engineer (Up to 28K; Perm role)

A leading manufacturing company in Hong Kongis looking for s System Engineer to plan, manage and support IT hardware, networks, and company-wide platforms. Key responsibilities include system maintainent, administration, troubleshooting, SQL database management. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, troubleshoot, and support IT hardware and network systems.
• Perform daily system maintenance and housekeeping for IT resources and data.
• Provide system administration and support for platforms such as Windows Servers, Database Servers, antivirus systems, email servers, and network services.
• Install, test, and commission servers, networks, and security equipment at local and overseas locations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for networking and system configurations.
• Handle SQL data queries, analysis, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Assist with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) system maintenance and data interaction.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network, hardware, and system support.
• Strong technical proficiency with Linux, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, VMware/vSphere.
• Experience with the installation and configuration of PBX, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
• Familiarity with HIKVISION, Huawei Firewall, and ZKTECH products is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process and analyze large datasets.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
