Assistant IT Manager (~45K)

Key Responsibilities:

1. IT Operations & Support

  • Manage and support the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services.

2. Project Management & Implementation

  • Assist in planning, executing, and delivering IT projects, including software deployments, system upgrades, and tech roll-outs.
  • Define project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Coordinate project tasks across team members, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.

3. System & Vendor Management

  • Administer and configure key business systems such as ERP, CRM, and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, software providers, and service partners.
  • Evaluate new technologies and solutions to address evolving business needs.

4. Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate IT and business processes.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user guides.
  • Contribute to training material creation and conduct user training sessions.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with various departments to understand their technology needs and challenges.
  • Act as a bridge between business users and IT teams/vendors to ensure effective solution delivery.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on IT system status, project updates, and performance metrics for management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
    • Proven experience in IT project management (Agile/Waterfall) and digital solutions.
    • Industry experience in real estate, property management, or facility management is highly preferred.
    • Hands-on experience with property-related software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) is a strong advantage.
    • PMP certification is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing IT systems such as Microsoft M365, and familiarity with data analysis tools like Power BI.
  • Logical Thinker: Ability to translate business challenges into innovative digital solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to manage projects independently, influence stakeholders across regions, and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Experience in managing RFPs, vendor performance, and IT budgets.
