Cloud Engineer (Reputable MNC)
This role involves planning, designing, and implementing IT systems across both on-premises data centers and public cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, infrastructure administration, and enterprise IT solutions. You will play a key role in shaping and executing digital enterprise architecture and supporting cross-functional collaboration through technical leadership and training.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage IT solutions across on-premises data centers and public cloud platforms.
- Lead the development and deployment of Digital Enterprise Architecture (DEA).
- Provide technical advice, best practices, and training to internal teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cloud and infrastructure solutions align with business goals.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security across cloud services and infrastructure components.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of systems and services.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services:
- DevOps, API Management, Data Factory, Databricks, Stream Analytics, Power BI.
- Experience withMicroservices and container orchestration platforms:
- AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), PKS (Pivotal Container Service), OpenShift.
- Proficient in database technologies:
- SQL Server, Data Warehousing, Cosmos DB, MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization tools, particularly VMware.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration and technical support.
- Experience managing large-scale or complex IT environments is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin preferred).
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
