APAC Systems Administrator (Linux, Nutanix) (HKD$800K-HKD$1M)

What you'll do:

• Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers in Asia, utilizing Satellite server and Ansible.
• Oversee core infrastructure (SAN/NAS) and Veeam backup operations.
• Maintain Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) in Asia, including VMware and Nutanix AHV.
• Support Tier 1 & 2 VMware and Nutanix operations.
• Create and update documentation for Linux, storage, HCI, and backup infrastructure (e.g., inventory, diagrams, procedures).
• Manage Linux patching cycles and software/firmware upgrades.
• Participate in system infrastructure project planning, implementation, and deployment.
• Manage external service providers to meet service requirements.
• Schedule and execute system changes during weekends and non-office hours under IT change control policies.
• Handle procurement for IT projects and annual maintenance contract renewals.
• Collaborate with the International Infrastructure team for project rollouts and daily operations.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux, VMware, Nutanix AHV, and storage administration.
• Strong experience with VMware/Nutanix projects and mission-critical infrastructures.
• Experience in backup administration and Linux hardening/provisioning.
• Implementation and troubleshooting experience with VMware/Nutanix AHV.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Self-motivated, independent, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and capability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility for remote/onsite work during non-office hours is required.
