IT Manager – Infrastructure (Azure Cloud)

About the responsibilities:

• Responsible for encompasses the management, operation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, which includes servers, networks, storage, systems, virtual machines, and Azure cloud operations
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, both physical and virtual, to ensure optimal functionality
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Handle procurement processes related to IT infrastructure, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing
• Manage tender processes for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines and evaluating proposals from vendors

About the requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• At least 10 years’ relevant working experience as team lead in IT Infrastructure project
• Experience in CISCO, Aruba, Ruckus, FortiNet, Palo Alto, VMware, Microsoft AD and AAD is preferred
• Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience in vendor management for infrastructure setup, project governance, implementation and change management
• Experience in tender process, procurement, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing
• Experience on structural cabling, server room design and build, network and server architecture, IP CCTV and IP Phone systems
• Speaks fluent Cantonese/Chinese and English with strong communication skills
