System Operator - Banking

Our client is looking for a System Operator to support their systems.

Duties:

  • Providing governance, risk, and compliance data insights to drive improvement across the bank’s IT infrastructure operations, projects
  • Managing service providers to resolve and minimize the business impact in Technology Infrastructure Services
  • Planning the implementation of processes and procedures for the identification and assessment of risk
  • Coordinating among teams and service providers to complete system maintenance according to bank standards
  • Supporting BAU daily operations to maintain system stability and resolve incident with agreed SLA
  • Following standard operating procedures for IT systems to ensure compliance with bank standards
  • Provide ad-hoc technical support for the various platform & infrastructure environments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Knowledge in Windows and Linux
  • ITIL v4 certification holder is a plus
  • Ability to translate technical or complex concepts into user-friendly language
  • Ability to collaborate, working closely with both functional and technical teams
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with end users
  • Effective communications skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • Self-motivated and Ability to work independently and within a team environment
