Cloud Operation Management Manager/AM

Our client with a significant presence , has embraced cloud technology at an advanced level.With a strong commitment to staying ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape, they are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Cloud Operations Manager/Assistant Manager. This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing their cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and contributing to their ongoing success in the competitive global market.

Responsibilities:

Manage operations across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, PaaS, SaaS) for digital applications within APAC.
Oversee daily cloud operations including routine maintenance, incident management, problem management, change management, crisis management, and disaster recovery.
Lead and mentor the team to adopt new technologies, reducing reliance on service providers.
Develop System Reliability Engineering (SRE) processes for group IT.
Collaborate with CTOs and IT departments to align technology services/solutions.
Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, and automation tool development for system health monitoring.
Define the cloud capability roadmap, distinguishing company's offerings from competitors.

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
Minimum 8+ years in IT operations, with at least 6 years in cloud environments for manager role
Minimum 6 years experience for assistant manager role
Experience developing SOPs for cloud operations.
Proficiency in Azure and AWS technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and data analytics.
Proven track record in managing complex global enterprise-scale cloud operations.
Certification in ITSM processes (ITIL, ISO 20000, ISO 27001).
Holders of Azure or AWS certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
Knowledge of containers, orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Azure AKS, AWS EKS), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins).
