Infrastructure Analyst (L1/L2) - Financial Services (HKD$700K)

A reputable financial services with global teams working in different regions is looking for a strong infrastructure engineer to be a part of their talented and stable team in Hong Kong.

What you'll do:

• Provide BAU infrastructure operations support including but not limited to the desktop, server, network and telephony infrastructure, working with the global team, covering Asia time zone.
• Provide L1-L2 infrastructure support covering Windows servers, SAN storage, VSAN, VMware, Checkpoint firewalls and Cisco switches.
• Responsible for implementing IT infrastructure projects in line with the lifecycle roadmap
• Maintain and perform documented standard operating procedures relating to things like patching, backups, monitoring, capacity management that keep the IT Infrastructure up to date and highly available, identify improvements and implement when agreed with the team

What you'll bring:

• Fluency in English and Chinese with excellent communication skills in both languages is essential
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to work well with team members, colleagues and business units
• Flexible and adaptable with excellent time management and prioritisation skills within a changing environment
• Able to work on shift and on-call out of core working hours and having a flexible approach to working hours to accomplish urgent and ad hoc tasks few times a year (compensation/OT will be provided for scheduled work)
• Strong hands on experience in providing L2 infrastructure support in a sizeable company
• Hands on with troubeshooting Windows server, VMware, SAN, VSAN, Checkpoint firewalls and Cisco switches
