This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide both helpdesk and remote support for IT systems, as well as hands-on experience in a FMCG environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to showcase their problem-solving skills, with the ability to escalate issues when necessary. This role requires a strong command of both English and Chinese, and offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative team.


As a Helpdesk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's IT systems. You will be responsible for providing helpdesk, remote and onsite support, handling user-reported incidents with efficiency and care. Your day-to-day tasks will include undertaking the daily support of IT systems within a hotel environment, performing first-tier problem solving, and installing software to PCs or related equipment. Your excellent communication skills will be put to good use as you maintain clear lines of communication with users throughout the resolution process.

  • Provide helpdesk, remote and onsite support of IT systems
  • Handle incidents reported from users in a timely and efficient manner
  • Undertake daily support of IT systems in a hotel environment
  • Perform first tier problem solving, escalating issues when necessary
  • Install software to PCs and/or related equipment
  • Maintain clear communication with users throughout the resolution process


The ideal candidate for this Helpdesk Engineer position will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in technical support roles.

  • Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least one year's working experience in a technical support role (hardware & software)
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues when necessary
  • Experience with software installation on PCs or related equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with users
