(Senior) Network Engineer

Our client is looking for a (Senior) Network Engineer to design and support their network.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for network related project implementation.
• Experience on Checkpoint, Palo Alto, or Fortinet
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
• Provide support for daily network operation and maintenance.
• Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, VPN, QoS)
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline
• Strong previous work experience on Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
• CCNA or CCNP
• Good problem solving, systematic work approach and communication skills in English are required.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
