Junior Business Analyst (Core Bank Project)

In this role, you will support the ongoing development and enhancement of our core banking systems, ensuring they meet business needs and operate efficiently. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong analytical skills, capable of working across technical and business environments to drive successful project outcomes.

• Gather and Analyze Requirements: Understand current application workflows, elicit business requirements from stakeholders, and document them clearly for ongoing and new initiatives.
• Design Solutions and Provide Recommendations: Collaborate with technical teams to develop and evaluate solutions that align with business goals and system capabilities.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Prepare detailed functional specifications, process diagrams, user stories, and other relevant documents to ensure clarity and knowledge retention.
• Support Project Lifecycle: Participate actively in all phases of project delivery, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
• Oversee Implementation: Track and support the deployment of new features and system improvements, ensuring smooth rollout and user adoption.
• Identify and Resolve Issues: Detect, analyze, and prioritize system defects, working closely with development and QA teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate Deployments: Assist in planning and executing application deployments to minimize business disruption.

Requirments:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking or financial services, is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English for effective communication.
• Proficient in documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
