Regional Business Analyst – Compensation Transform Project

Support a regional compensation system transformation, leveraging life insurance expertise to drive process improvements, system enhancements, and successful project delivery.

Job Duties

• Support a regional transformation programme focused on enhancing and modernising insurance compensation and commission management systems.
• Partner with business, operations, and technology teams to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Drive end-to-end business analysis activities across system enhancement, platform transformation, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Assess current compensation processes, identify gaps, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and future-state workflows.
• Work closely with technology teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders to support solution design, system configuration, and implementation activities.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, process mapping sessions, impact assessments, and gap analysis across multiple markets.
• Coordinate SIT/UAT activities, manage issue resolution, and ensure business readiness for system deployment.
• Support data migration, process transition, change management, and user adoption during system transformation initiatives.
• Ensure new system capabilities align with business objectives, operational requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Insurance, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of Business Analyst experience within the life insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance compensation, agency commission administration, incentive schemes, and related operational processes.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale system transformation, system implementation, platform migration, or digital transformation projects within insurance.
• Ability to gather and translate complex business requirements into functional and system specifications.
• Hands-on experience throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Experience working on regional or multi-market projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of business process re-engineering, change management, and operational transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantageous.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
