Agile PM/Scrum Master - Financial Service

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager/ Scrum Master to lead the transformation, ensuring smooth project execution and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and confirm the project scope, ensuring alignment and a shared understanding of objectives
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including business rationale, resource requirements, timelines, and financial estimates, securing necessary approvals from sponsors
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks while proactively communicating mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to drive team collaboration and continuous improvement
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines and budgets
• Partner with onshore and offshore vendors to ensure successful system delivery; assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Create and maintain the Project Charter, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and expectations for all team members and stakeholders
• Support the Director of PMO in managing project budgets, resource allocation, and financial tracking across multiple IT initiatives involving external vendors and remote teams

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Proven experience managing IT transformation projects within the insurance or financial services sectors
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum framework preferred) with a track record of delivering projects using Agile practices
• Experience in enterprise level project / financial service is highly advantageous
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and vendor management
• Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies effectively
• Leadership skills to motivate and coordinate diverse cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
• Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English is essential for this role
• Availability on short notice will be considered a strong advantage
