Digital Business Analyst (Renewable 6 months)

An organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Business Analyst to define requirements and deliver solutions that improve operations and customer experience in Agile environments.

Key responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst, you will lead requirements discovery, process analysis, and Agile solution delivery to improve operations and customer experience.

Discovery & Problem Framing

• Lead discovery to identify business problems, opportunities, and improvement areas
• Define initiative scope, objectives, and success metrics
• Analyse AS-IS processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks

Business Solution Design & Validation

• Co-lead design of end-to-end business solutions for products and services
• Translate customer needs into clear value propositions, scope, and minimum viable experience
• Define operating model, lifecycle requirements, and product design specifications
• Ensure scalable, repeatable solutions aligned with CX and architectural principles

Requirements & Solution Ownership

• Own end-to-end requirements elicitation, validation, and management
• Define business, functional, and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Design TO-BE processes, workflows, and operational enablement materials
• Develop test scenarios and ensure solution readiness

Stakeholder Management & Influence

• Act as key liaison across business, product, and engineering teams
• Drive alignment on priorities, scope, and solution direction
• Present insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Delivery Leadership & Execution

• Lead BA workstreams for medium to large-scale Agile initiatives
• Drive backlog prioritisation, sprint planning, refinement, and UAT coordination
• Serve as subject matter authority for requirements and solution clarification

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong BA experience in telecom or tech, strong Agile and stakeholder management skills, proficiency in Jira/Confluence, and a data-driven mindset for delivering end-to-end digital solutions.

• 6–8 years’ experience in Business Analysis / Business Solution Design
• Proven ability to lead requirements and solution design for complex initiatives across business and technology domains in Agile/hybrid environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capability
• Demonstrated commercial awareness, linking solutions to measurable business outcomes
• Experience in process automation or digital transformation within telecom or technology-led environments
• Familiar with product lifecycle management, API-led integration, and tools such as Jira and Confluence
