PMO Manager/Portfolio Manager – Business Transformation (FS)
Our client, a leading organization in the Financial Services (FS) sector, is seeking an experienced PMO Manager/Portfolio Manager to drive business transformation initiatives. This role focuses on delivering operational excellence across trading and data platforms while ensuring compliance with governance standards. You will lead end-to-end project lifecycles, balancing technical execution with strategic improvement to achieve impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Define program objectives, create roadmaps, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish frameworks, track progress, and deliver transparent updates to stakeholders.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify risks, manage interdependencies, and implement mitigation strategies for seamless delivery.
- Resource Optimization: Forecast resource needs, monitor budgets, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and integration.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet required standards and secure stakeholder approvals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience managing high-value portfolios with measurable success.
- Expertise in project governance frameworks, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Certifications such as PMP, PfMP, PRINCE2, or Agile preferred.
- Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of tools like Jira, Microsoft Project & MS Office Suite.
