IT Business Analyst/Technical Business Analyst - Data

Our enterprise client’s Data and AI team is seeking a talented IT Business Analyst/Technical Business Analyst to join their flagship project. This is your chance to work on cutting-edge data products and make a real impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various business units to understand their requirements, workflows, and challenges.
• Translate business needs into clear, functional specifications for the technical team.
• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to develop or enhance data-driven products.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including user stories, process flows, and system requirements.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups (if applicable).
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or technical projects.
• Strong ability to work across multiple business units to gather requirements and understand diverse workflows.
• Proven experience translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
• Familiarity with working alongside data scientists and engineers on data product development or enhancement.
• Exceptional technical writing skills for creating clear and concise documentation.
• Experience in Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in both English and Cantonese is essential (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
