A global leader in event and entertainment technology seeks a Senior Project Manager in Hong Kong to lead end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, budget, and resources to deliver innovative experiences ensuring client satisfaction, team wellbeing, and profitability.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager – Event and Entertainment Technology, you will immerse yourself in the orchestration of complex live event projects that span engineering innovation and creative artistry. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with clients to understand their vision and translate it into tangible deliverables.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale projects in the event and entertainment technology sector while ensuring objectives are met efficiently
• Act as the primary client liaison throughout project lifecycles to maintain satisfaction and exceed expectations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams—including engineering, manufacturing, and operations—to ensure seamless project delivery
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources meticulously while identifying risks or delays and implementing solutions proactively
• Contribute to organisational growth by sharing insights from completed projects and participating in continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role as Senior Project Manager, you will bring extensive experience managing complex projects within the entertainment industry or related fields such as engineering or construction management. Your ability to prioritise tasks effectively while fostering collaboration will be key to your success.

• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects in fast-paced environments for at least five years
• Strong interpersonal communication skills paired with a customer service-oriented mindset to build trust with clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and scheduling tools like MS Project or Asana
• Advanced knowledge of budget management platforms (Power BI/Tableau), ERP systems (Epicor/SAP), CRM software (Zendesk/Salesforce), and content management tools (Box/SharePoint/Google Drive)
• Preferred: PMP certification with a track record of managing profitable projects involving cost estimation/control and risk management
