A global insurance firm seeks an AVP/Sr. Director – Data & AI Delivery Lead in Hong Kong to steer transformative AI initiatives, embed advanced AI in operations, and drive data-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

As AVP/Sr. Director – Data & AI Delivery Lead, you will oversee complex Data and AI projects, integrate Agentic AI into operations, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure governance and operational excellence.

• Own end-to-end delivery and service performance of Agency/Operations Data, AI, and Agentic AI initiatives from build through BAU
• Lead Agile and Agile-at-scale delivery, partnering with Product Owners on roadmaps, MVPs, and phased releases
• Oversee integration and scaling of AI and Agentic AI solutions in workflows, ensuring orchestration, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Serve as the primary accountability point for Agency/Operations Data & AI delivery, building strong senior relationships across business units and functions
• Ensure smooth BAU transition with clear ownership, SLAs, operational resilience, and mentor senior team members

Candidate profile

To excel in this role, you will leverage extensive insurance data transformation experience to lead enterprise-scale Agile Data and Agentic AI initiatives, manage LLM governance, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

• 12–15+ years in data or transformation delivery leadership roles, with a strong insurance background
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Agile delivery and product-centric operating models for distribution channels
• Demonstrated success deploying Data, AI, and Agentic AI solutions into production environments
• Deep understanding of LLM and Agentic AI workflows, governance frameworks, and operational controls
• Extensive experience managing Group-level stakeholders across multiple local business units
