Project Manager/Business Analyst (HR system)

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst and Project Manager to support HR technology projects, including PeopleSoft and Oracle HCM Cloud. This role involves gathering business requirements, coordinating with technical teams, managing project timelines, and supporting testing and user training. The candidate will lead process improvements, oversee change initiatives, and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Business Analyst

  • Analyze HR systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM Cloud, internal HR tools, SaaS platforms) by gathering business requirements, identifying priorities, and shaping development plans.
  • Act as a bridge between business users, developers, and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
  • Identify business objectives by studying requirements, gathering data, and conducting cost-benefit analysis.
  • Create detailed functional specs for developers, outlining issues and expected outputs.
  • Track project progress, resolve issues, share regular updates, and present key milestones in stakeholder meetings.
  • Design and execute initial testing, define UAT strategies, develop test cases, and support users with scenario-based testing.
  • Prepare user documentation and provide training to end users.
  • Collaborate with HR SMEs to document current processes and identify challenges.

Project Management

  • Lead HR project planning and execution using effective tools and methodologies.
  • Drive delivery of project milestones, manage risks, and support implementation of change initiatives.
  • Maintain the project plan and highlight risks affecting critical deliverables.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and monthly steering committee sessions.
  • Manage key documentation—risk logs, status reports, requirements, test plans, and scripts.
  • Monitor and resolve project issues, risks, and key decisions.
  • Assess local needs, define roadmaps, and manage deliverables.
  • Support creation of SLAs for HRIT services and submit quality control documentation as required.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of professional experience in HR systems and project delivery.

HR Tools Expertise (PeopleSoft HCM / Oracle HCM Cloud)

  • In-depth knowledge of core functionalities within PeopleSoft HRMS.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle implementations or system rollouts of PeopleSoft HRMS.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Oracle HCM Cloud technologies.
  • Strong grasp of system configuration, as well as integration with external applications.
  • Solid background in data migration, analytics, and reporting.
