Regulatory Reporting Business Anlalyst (Investment Bank)

This role is going to support the enhancement and delivery of local regulatory reporting solutions across the APAC region. The team is dedicated to designing, developing, and maintaining IT systems for Finance and Risk departments, operating in a collaborative, agile environment. By leveraging deep regional expertise in data, compliance, and modern technologies, the team drives innovation in regulatory reporting. Supporting over 700 reports across 9 countries—including Balance Sheet, P&L, Large Exposures, LCR, and Basel III—the platform serves a wide range of users in Finance and Operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document complex finance or accounting requirements.
• Conduct data analysis to validate business needs and optimize effort.
• Maintain solution documentation and data dictionary.
• Support SIT/UAT testing and prepare technical and user documentation.
• Configure and develop automated reporting processes using the regional platform.
• Provide Level 3 support for production incidents and user queries.
• Perform data modeling and automate workflows.
• Contribute to design and development of system modules and data transformation.
• Facilitate regular communication among team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, or similar tools.
• Strong ownership, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years in Banking/Finance/IT with regulatory or financial reporting exposure.
• Knowledge of Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, and banking compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with banking products, accounting flows, and system architecture.
• Experience in project management, system implementation, and data analysis.
• Certifications such as CPA, CFA, PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent are a plus.
