PM/ BA – Finance Transformation - Financial service
Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Business Analyst to support their finance transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into functional specifications while ensuring alignment with standardized processes and business objectives.
- Design and document future-state FP&A processes for forecasting and planning across P&L and balance sheets, focusing on creating efficient, scalable, and consistent methodologies across regions.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams during the implementation of FP&A technology solutions (e.g., TM1, Alteryx, Power BI), validating requirements and coordinating testing efforts globally.
- Partner with finance leaders and project sponsors to identify process inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive adoption of new practices in collaboration with global leadership teams.
- Lead change management efforts by supporting training programs for country FP&A teams, building capabilities, and embedding new ways of working alongside implemented solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and governance frameworks for FP&A transformation initiatives to ensure accountability and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project delivery controls such as timelines, issue resolution, quality assurance, and status reporting to ensure successful execution of transformation projects.
- Provide analytical insights into post-implementation outcomes (e.g., efficiency improvements, enhanced data quality) to measure the success of transformation initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 8+ years in delivering finance-related projects within financial services or similar industries.
- Proven expertise in business analysis and requirements management within finance transformation contexts.
- Hands-on experience with financial planning/analysis systems such as TM1, Oracle, Anaplan, or similar tools; familiarity with management reporting platforms like Power BI is essential.
- Strong ability to collaborate with technology and data teams to bridge business needs with technical solutions effectively.
- Experience working on regional or global projects is highly desirable.
