Job Responsibilities

• Lead product vision, roadmap, and outcomes, collaborating with the functional teams to meet product mandates and objectives
• Work with stakeholders to identify needs, ensuring innovative solutions align with business and technology strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and market competition, particularly in AI and digital technologies.
• Create and maintain an innovation roadmap to guide execution for value realization.
• Prioritize features based on value and alignment with organizational objectives; recommend trade-offs for product inclusion/exclusion.
• Oversee product development, managing teams to deliver on the product vision.
• Accountable for product-specific objectives and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain a backlog of prioritized items for future sprints, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate release planning and weekly demos; assess product value delivered in increments.

Job Requirements

• University degree; 15+ years in the Insurance or Financial sector
• Deep understanding of insurance digital journeys.
• Ability to balance business needs with business constraints.
• Strong experience in Product Development and Lifecycle Management.
• Knowledge of insurance products, channels, and client/advisor behaviors.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and large strategic programs.
• Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Agile Product Owner certification preferred.
