Business Analyst (Hardware Technology, Aviation) - 45k

My client is looking for a BA for development and implementation of automated systems, specifically focusing on guided vehicles and robotic hardware.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions and negotiations with end users across various locations to align on requirements, delivery timelines, and resource commitments.
• Document and prepare both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), identify issues, and coordinate with the team for resolution.
• Assist the Product Owner in managing and prioritizing the product backlog, focusing on business value and impact.
• Ensure business requirements are effectively translated into product features with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to refine user stories and ensure technical feasibility.
• Participate in backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning to clarify scope and deliverables.
• Define and measure KPIs and success metrics to evaluate the impact of implemented solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in product management within automation and robotics.
• Proven track record in delivering robotic and automated solutions from concept through launch and ongoing support.
• Strong understanding of hardware development cycles and relevant industry standards.
• Familiarity with product development life cycles, change management, project management, Agile methodologies, and feature-driven development.
• Experience coordinating engineering and development teams, as well as external contractors.
• Strong analytical skills with a technical background.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Experience in airframe services within the MRO industry is advantageous.
• Background in business process reengineering or solution design is a plus
