Scrum Master (Perm, 1.2M annum)

Our client is a leading hospitality and entertainment group.

Responsibilities:

• Be accountable to the Programme Manager, Programme Director, Head of Department and the overall project SMES
• Forecast and ensure JIRA backlog is refined and prioritised regularly
• Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by each Scrum team as well as possible
• Ensure the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximise value. Understand and practice agility; and facilitate each Scrum of Scrums event as requested or needed. Prepare daily stand-up meetings for the assigned Scrum Teams
• Create, monitor, and track project Risks/ Issues/ Dependencies. Create/ Update/ Monitor/ Track/ Assign/ Report Jira Tickets
• Ensure appropriate standards are adopted that effective quality controls are built into the project plan and that mechanisms are in place to ensure it
• Prepare and support Programme Stand-ups and Increment Planning
• Prepare/Run/Attend Retrospectives
• Prepare/Run Sprint Planning sessions, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives and Sprint/ Showcase Demos
• Identify and manage relationships through effective communication with all stakeholders including third parties and act as the primary point of contact
• Strong communicator, a capable leader and invested in Agile frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related subjects
• Scrum Master Certification (Scale Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc)
• Ability to communicate at all levels within a complex and large organisation
• Minimum of 3 years’ Agile Project Methodology experience
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Cantonese is required, and Mandarin (written and spoken) an advantage
