Our client is seeking an Executive Director for Enterprise Applications (ERP) to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business plans into prioritised roadmaps, managing contractual delivery of software providers, and ensuring alignment of technology solutions with business strategies. What you'll do:
As the Executive Director for Enterprise Applications (ERP), your role will be pivotal in shaping the future direction of our client's enterprise applications. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the business, translating their needs into actionable roadmaps. Your expertise in managing software providers and implementation partners will ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable systems that align with the company's strategic objectives. You will also play a key role in maintaining system availability during prime business hours, working collaboratively with IT Operations and IT Infrastructure teams.
* Engage with Business Department Line Management and IT peers to translate business plans into prioritised roadmaps
* Manage contractual delivery of software providers and implementation partners
* Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business strategies and objectives
* Provide a seamless interface to business users for solution planning and deliver integrated technology solutions and services
* Cooperate with IT Operations and IT Infrastructure teams to attain and maintain zero major system outage during prime business hours
* Work with IT Business Management Department to ensure standards for enterprise architecture and development lifecycle activities are maintained

* At least 15 years of working experience in the IT field with 10 years in management positions
* Strong business acumen, analytical and decision-making skills
* Proven enterprise grade application development management experience with large-scale organisations
* Solid management experience in IT enterprise applications arena including vendor management, customisation of solutions and timely implementation of solutions with high availability and performance
* Proven experience in managing application outsourcing activities as a means to achieve service delivery and cost efficiency improvement
