IT Manager (ERP/Digital Platform/RPA)

My client is looking for a project manager for their customer-facing system/internal application development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team in executing various digital initiatives to enhance customer engagement across multiple physical and digital touchpoints, including websites, e-forms, mobile apps, social media, instant messaging, and EDM.
• Lead and supervise a small team to oversee the various existing ERP systems and plan for the upgrade/replacement
• Select and implement systems/platforms such as ERP, HCMS, Sourcing etc;
• Design user journeys using a user-centric and omnichannel approach.
• Manage and improve platforms such as enterprise web content management systems, microservices, low-code solutions, and customer inquiry systems.
• Oversee full project life cycle, including project planning, requirement study, solution design, system building, system testing, user training, system go-live, continuous support, etc;
• Formulate the project team, including consultants, developers, etc, and work closely with the stakeholders to achieve the targeted results;
• Outline an overall budget according to project requirements and track the costs and resources to deliver the project on time;
• Review change requests based on risks, time, and costs;
• Identify and mitigate potentials risks; and carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related IT discipline.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in managing digital projects.
• Certifications in agile project management (e.g., PMI-ACP, PMP, CSM, PSM) are advantageous.
• Proven experience in managing digital platforms and services, including websites, mobile applications, enterprise web content management, APIs, low-code platforms, EDM tools, and omnichannel customer inquiries.
• Knowledge of user experience design, content strategy and governance, identity access management, microservice architecture, robotic process automation (RPA), user analytics, and/or generative AI is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to understanding user needs and providing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with a focus on delivering a user-centric experience.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
