Senior IT Application Manager (Perm, Retail, APAC)

Our client is a renowned MNC in luxury retail. It is looking for an experienced Senior IT Application Mnaager to manage a team of managers to oversee a portoflio of retail solutions, ERP and eCommerce applications across APAC countries.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the retail applications, POS, ERP, CRM, eCommerce and digital solutions across multiple countries in the APAC region
• Lead projects related to the development and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Manage and mentor a medium-size team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks and professional development
• Manage communications and alignment effectively with regional businesses and IT stakeholders at Global HQ
• Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers to ensure they meet service level agreements and support requirements
• Collaborate with Regional Head of IT to develop strategies for scaling and improving the software applications and solutions
• Develop and manage the budget for IT applications, ensuring cost effectiveness and resource optimisation
• Ensure all IT applications comply with legal, regulatory, and security standards pertinent to the retail and technology industries
• Work closely with other department heads to ensure IT systems align with business objectives and user needs
• Regularly report key functional metrics and project statuses to upper management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10 years of experience or above in IT application management within the retail industry
• Prior experience working in a multinational organisation; regional exposure is preferred
• Experience in managing retail applications: POS, ERP, eCommerce and digital channels
• Experience in leading IT projects, vendor management and managing teams
